BitBreak is a Bitcoin security research & awareness platform. We study real-world failure modes in traditional wallet generation and backup practices and publish reproducible research. Our open-source repository includes high-throughput mnemonic enumeration/derivation utilities capable of generating millions of candidates per minute. These tools exist solely for auditability, testing, and benchmarking, and are intended to run locally/offline by legally authorized users.
bitbreak.co is an addresses-only, non-custodial service. It does not expose or operate the high-throughput research utilities. Its purpose is to help you determine whether any of your wallets/addresses appear in publicly reported exposure datasets, and to provide alerts, guidance, and mitigation steps if exposure is detected. We never request or collect seed phrases or private keys. Checks run on-device whenever possible and may use privacy-preserving queries.
We provide monitoring and educational tools only. We do not recover funds and we do not claim or legitimize ownership of any address. The presence of a balance does not grant rights to those funds. Accessing assets that are not yours is illegal. Acceptable Use. Use our software and datasets only for security testing you are legally authorized to perform (e.g., your own keys or with explicit consent). Any use to obtain unauthorized access or to violate applicable law is strictly prohibited. No affiliation. References to third-party entities, technologies, or standards are provided for context and comparison only and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or partnership.
BitBreak is not a financial institution, custodian, or advisor. Information is provided "as is" for educational/security-awareness purposes and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Use at your own risk; always verify transactions independently and follow proper OpSec. By using bitbreak.co you agree to our Terms and Privacy.
